Even when you're alone.. or not: Kissing by Bliss

I love 'alone-time' songs. Those songs that you listen to when all you've got is your mp3 player. Alone time songs can't be listened to when its crowded or noisy, it has to be you, and you alone. (hence ALONE time) Although overplayed and overrated, I have to admit, Imogen Heap's Hide and Seek is one of them. Perfect when you're alone with nothing else to distract your ears but the steady sound of her voice in your head.
Another song is 'Kissing' by Bliss. To me its got that heavenly sound to it, easy to listen to, and it actually pulls on those heart strings. I don't know why but I listen to this when I'm alone in the beach, hugging my knees. I end up watching the water while this song is in repeat. I also don't know why but I almost always end up with a heavy feeling in my heart, like I'm an inch away from being sad or depressed. This song makes me want to cry. It's like I'm missing someone even though I've got no one to miss.
The other funny thing about this song, is that it's also good for moments when you're safe and in between arms. I've never tried, but I can imagine sharing a pair of earphones and simply enjoying the presence and warmth of a significant other.
Although made up of extremely simple lyrics, it isn't dumb nor shallow. With the steady percussions, piano and violins, the lyrics only add up to the song's romantic sound.
On my wedding day, this song will be played. I'm sure of it.
